Major Ensembles

Piano Ensemble

Former Owner of Harmony Road Music School

Intermediate Players 2-3 years experience, Primary Piano students will be able to spend the mornings in piano and three electives in the afternoon.

Middle School Band

Myfield Middle School

Grades 5-8

*Students must have at least 1 year of instruction on their instrument. This group of middle school brass, woodwind, and percussion students will rehearse and perform a variety of music for intermediate musicians, while also reinforcing good habits and proper playing techniques.

Junior Choir

Ms. Samantha Veal

Paducah Middle School

Grades 5-8

This group of singers will learn a variety of music tailored for younger voices, while reinforcing good habits and proper vocal technique. Students will develop reading readiness using solfège with hand signs.

Junior Strings

Grades 5-8

Students must have at least 1 year of experience on their instrument.

Orchestra

Grades 9-12

This group of high school strings, winds, and percussion will rehearse and perform classics from the standard literature. Students will learn about composition, music theory, and developing an ear for music.

Jazz Band

Grades 9-12

High school saxes, trumpets, trombones, and rhythm will combine to form this ensemble. These students will develop knowledge of the vocabulary and elements used in jazz.

Senior Choir

Grades 9-12

Singers at the high school level will rehearse and perform a variety of literature as well as learn pitch and rhythm pattern matching, proper diction, and appropriate vocal production.

Music Production

This elective gives students a look into how music goes from a songwiter's idea to a final recorded prduct that we listen to. This is a hands-on experience where students will be able to make their own music. Students should bring their own computer or a tablet with a program like GarageBand installed.
